Properties and Applications

MBI is mainly used as a synergist for other anti-aging agents. The combined effect of MBI and other anti-aging agents is usually better than when they are used alone. MBI itself is a medium-strength non-staining anti-aging

Properties: Sulfur anti-aging agent MBI (MB) is a white to light yellow powder, odorless, non-toxic and bitter. It is soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in dichloromethane, and insoluble in water.

Applications:Rubber anti-aging agent MB is a non-staining anti-aging agent. It can reduce discoloration during rubber vulcanization, effectively protect against copper damage and overcome the adverse effects caused by over-vulcanization. This product is easy to disperse in rubber and does not discolor under sunlight. It has a retarding effect on accelerators M, DM, TMTD and other substances, and produces a synergistic effect with amine and phenolic antioxidants. It is often used to make transparent, white and bright-colored products, and also used as a heat stabilizer for polyethylene and polypropylene. It is mainly used in synthetic rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, cis-polybutadiene rubber and other materials.
